Vocational Training System in the Country needs
substantial growth with quality and with multi skill approach so that the
mismatch between the skill in demand and the skill at the source are
reduced. The skill level of competency
of the trainees must be at par with the skill level required in the competitive
world labour market in the era of globalization policy.
The
measures taken by Government of India, Ministry of Labour and Employment for
upgrading 500 publicly funded ITI s across the Country into Centers of
Excellence is praise worthy at the present juncture of industrialization. The basic objective of the programmer is to
produce multi skill work force of world class standard in different sectors
through active Public Private Participation.
It is the responsibility of the industries and other stake holders to
actively participate at all stages of the training programme so that the
bottlenecks can be reduced and the end products will get gainful employment.
Boasting
of the most competent and equally passionate faculty in the State drawing the
brightest young minds and powered by Good facilities, Govt. Industrial Training
Institute, Tirupati creates an environment that is competitively intense and
learning-wise satisfying. The exposure
provided at this place trains not just for technological superiority, but also
for an overall under standing of the
world suitable shaping global careers for our students in rapidly changing
arena.
I can
say with confidence that the training
our students have gone through, equips them with all necessary requirement to
succeed and in fact, guide the world in the right direction. In the end, I extend my best wishes to all
the students, that parents, members of teaching and nonteaching faculty and all
